Sachin Now Eligible for Bharat Ratna

In what could be a great news for sport fans, the government today decided to widen the scope of Bharat Ratna after The Prime Minister accepted the recommendations from Ministry of Home Affairs.

Bharat Ratna is country’s highest civilian award and was earlier awarded only in the field of Art, Science, Literature and Public Service. But now it has been expanded to “excellence in all fields of human endeavor.”

Sports Minister Ajay Maken tweeted, “Bharat Ratna for any sportsperson would be a big big day for Indian Sports!”

With growing echoes to give Bharat Ratna to Sachin, now it looks almost certain that Sachin Tendulkar will get India’s highest civilian award in coming days.

Sachin Tendulkar Moves To His New Villa In Bandra

Little Master Sachin Tendulkar and his family moved to their new villa located in Bandra, Mumbai. Sachin shifted from his old home in La Mer Housing Society in Bandra West. The new villa is very spacious and spread over the area of over 6000 square feet and have five floors.

Sachin said that “I have moved to new place. We are happy as a family to have moved to this place. Everyone has a dream of owning a house. I, too, had this dream. I am happy that I was able to fulfill it. The flat where I earlier used to live, I had received it under the sports quota. I have now vacated that place, so that some other sportsman can live there.”

The new home was bought by Sachin in year 2007 for Rs 39 crore and now got it ready after its reconstruction. This Palace like Villa is fully secured by CCTV Cameras, Sensors and high walled fencing. Sachin is also first Indian cricketer after Nawab of Pataudi to have most luxurious villa.

The house is made by considering all the Vastu elements in mind and also special emphasis was given for the kid’s quarter. According to the reports, there is a Swimming Pool on the terrace and parking space of about 45-50 cars.

Sachin Tendulkar : Only Indian In Top XI Of “ICC Test Team Of The Year”

Little Master Sachin Tendulkar is the only Indian player selected in Top XI of “ICC Test Team of the Year”. He is at the 4th spot in Test Team Players repeatedly from past Three years. While Zaheer Khan another Indian player is also selected as 12th man.

The players are selected on the basis of there performances in Test Cricket from the period of August 11, 2010 to August 3, 2011.
In this Period of Time Sachin scored 973 runs in 10 Test matches i.e. at an average of 64.86.

Sachin Tendulkar: Joined NDTV “Support My School Campaign”

Little Master Sachin Tendulkar becomes the brand ambassador for the NDTV “Support My School Campaign”. The aim of this campaign is to provide better infrastructure, water and sanitation facilities in schools across India.
Sachin said that “This campaign is very close to my heart because we all know how important it is to support education and provide a proper platform. It is disappointing, though a reality, to see that girls don’t get to school in rural areas because of lack of facilities”
The channel will raise funds by a “12 hour live Telethon” on its networks. CEO of NDTV lifestyle, Smeeta Chakrabarti said that “NDTV is proud to be associated with this campaign. We aim to raise funds for at least a 100 schools and more. We would like every one of our viewers to get involved and participate”

Little Master Scored 91 On Final Day Of Fourth Test Against England

Sachin misses his 100th ton on the last day of the 4th test against England. He tried his best as he concentrated for 235 minutes on the field to draw the match but at last get dismissed by Tim Bresnan for 91.

On this Ganguly, the former captain of Indian team said “His dismissal proved that cricket is one ball game. It doesn’t matter how much you have your eye in, one good ball can get you out”. He further added that “”I am pretty confident that his hundred will come in the one-dayers. Let’s not forget Tendulkar is only human after all. He has reached 99 hundreds, so obviously he will get to the 100 mark. I cannot stop being proud of him.”

Sachin Says Good Bye to Ferrari and Welcomes Nissan GTR

Sachin Tendulkar had sold his nine year old 360 Modena Ferrari car to his business man friend Jayesh Desai. Director of Rajhans Group Mr. Jayesh Desai had most likely paid a huge amount of Rs. 1.2 crore to own Sachin’s favorite ride. Red color 360 Modena Ferrari car was gifted to Master Blaster by automobile company FIAT in year 2002 on the occasion of leveling the Sir Don Bradman’s record of 29 centuries. Keys of Ferrari were presented to Sachin by the Ferrari’s brand ambassador and Formula 1 Champion Michael Schumacher in a presentation ceremony in England in 2002. Sachin’s Ferrari is most likely to be replaced by Nissan’s GTR. Nissan’s GTR is a 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine car and Sachin is going to pay approximately of 3,80,000 UAE Dirham (which is equal to about Rs.47 lakh) for it.
